This is a beautiful brass porthole with a west coast of Canada history. This porthole
was mounted in the outside wall of the office of the Dolmage Towing Co. in Vancouver British Columbia.It was used to put empty whiskey and beer bottles through until the office was torn down in 1965.John Dolmage,son of the original owner said it was mounted in the building when his father bought it in the 1930's. it is solid marine brass,with original glass,the opening is 7" and the mounting plate dimensions |
