| WW I Vintage Seamans Capbox |
 |
This is a rare item. It is the cap box of a Canadian volunteer seaman who had enlisted in the R.N.C.V.R. (Royal Navy Canadian Volunteer Reserve) for service in WW I. This was before the Canadian Navy actually became a service on it's own.
The cap box is made of metal painted black, and has the owners name and rank painted on lid as well as an anchor and the letters RNCVR. Comes with a copy of the original recruiting poster from 1914.This item is in very good condition for its age. |
