This is a type of caulking iron I have not seen before. It is definitely hand forged as the makers hammer marks are visible. The
flared end has notches filed in it for some reason I can't fathom.Dimensions are 5 1/2"
long x 1 1/4" wide.A nice old tool. |

| Caulking Iron |
 |
This caulking iron was used to caulk seams in hard to reach spots around deck houses, hatches, etc. It is quite long at 11"
and the leading edge is tapered like a knife blade. There is a makers name on one side
but it's too faded to make out. |
